UITP Service Quality Management & Excellence Training Successfully completed in Tokyo

With the great support of local host, Tokyo Metro, UITP Service Quality Management & Excellence training has successfully completed in July. It has attracted participants from significant railway operators, authorities, transit merchant acquirers, infrastructure systems and solutions across France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Latvia, Philipines, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey. This 3-day training programme was held in the newly opened “Comprehensive Learning and Training Center” of Tokyo Metro, with a tour inside and study visit at the Omote-sando station. On top of knowing how the key practices and innovative technology required to maintain a service quality management system, participants learnt the importance of staff training, wayfinding, autometic fare collection and non-rail business at station can serve a better safety and service quality.
